I was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I finished my banking apprenticeship in Germany and was able to learn a lot about what is going on behind the scenes and get to know different departments and their tasks. I quickly realized that I wanted to have close contact with clients and not work in the back office.
With my degree in my pocket and the professional knowledge which I gained by attending the banking academy in Karlsruhe thanks to my first employer, I started my adventure as a banker…
At Paradeplatz, I started my career with Swiss clients at UBS, but after a year the question was raised whether I should switch to Private Banking LATAM.
Back to the roots?
The idea to be able to work in my mother tongue and with clients from my home country really appealed to me, and the decision was therefore an easy one. And then there I was, in a team looking after clients from Argentina, Uruguay and other countries in Latin America. Privat Banking had a different meaning back then.
Thanks to a strong team and amazing colleagues, I was able to learn a lot in a short period of time. I think back to this chapter of my life with joy and owe a lot to UBS, but the time had come to spread my wings and try something new.
Plagued by fiscal amnesties, changes in our sector and increasing fees for mediocre client service, I decided that I wanted to take care of my clients as an independent asset manager.
Without conflicts of interest, with a personalized client service and the knowledge that on the other side there is someone who pursues your goals alongside you, I am convinced that I found the right components that lead to a stable and long-lasting client relationship.
